Nardò is one of those charming, under-the-radar Puglian towns that surprises you in the best way. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend an afternoon wandering its historic streets, sipping an aperitivo, and enjoying some of the best people-watching around.

Close to both the beach and major towns like Lecce and Gallipoli, Nardò hotels offer the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility.

Unlike the more touristy spots nearby, Nardò remains relatively off the beaten path, meaning you’ll find fewer crowds and lower prices—both for hotels and dining. Whether you’re using it as a base to explore Salento or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, Nardò is a gem that shouldn’t be overlooked.

So let’s jump in and explore some of my favorite hotel options in all of Puglia!

Short on time? TL;DR:

If you’re trying to book in a hurry or just don’t want to scroll through a bunch of recommendations, here’s my cheat sheet of top picks for where to stay in Nardò.

My choice of best Nardò hotels for any budget or requirement:

  1. Favorite Splurge: Palazzo Tafuri
  2. Trendy & Affordable: Palazzo Muci
  3. Vintage Charm: Palazzo Personè

How My Budget Tiers Work

The best hotels in Nardò offer something for every budget, but it’s worth keeping in mind that, given it’s a more off-the-beaten-track location, prices here tend to be a bit more reasonable compared to nearby towns like Gallipoli or Lecce.

While I usually consider my “luxury” tier to start at $200+ per night, in Nardò, you’ll find several excellent mid-range options that hover just below that mark, offering great value for the price. All told, I think Nardò hotels strike a nice balance between affordability and charm.

That said, do keep in mind that prices vary significantly by season in Puglia, so the rates I’ve listed reflect the “average” from May–June. If you’re visiting in July, expect to add around €100 per night, and in August, prices can increase by as much as €200 per night. On the flip side, if you’re visiting in the off-season, you can often save €50-100 per night.

Here’s the breakdown of budget categories in this post, all in USD:

  • Budget – €: Under $125/night
  • Mid-Range – €€: $125 to $200/night
  • Luxury – €€€: $200+/night
