Buying my pre-made Google Maps lists takes all the boring work out of trip planning so you arrive at your destination with a pocketful of tried and true Rachel IRL approved recommendations.

Doing research ahead of a trip is fun, but actually compiling and organizing all the places you want to see, eat at and explore can be a huge pain. It’s really tedious to look up each place individually and save it to your own Google Maps!

I used to save everything into one big generic “want to go” list, but the more I traveled, the more confusing this became. These days I organize my lists by category (represented by different emojis!) so I can immediately see what’s nearby at a glance. And now, you can too – without all the legwork!

Each map available for purchase includes between 1 and 25 individual Google Maps lists. These are divided into categories with corresponding emojis to help you quickly and easily navigate your destination. Shortly after completing your purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link that will automatically open each list in its own browser tab, ready to be saved to your own Google account.

Your access link will also include detailed instructions (with pictures!) for how to save each Google Maps list to your Google account. All you need is a laptop and an internet connection!

You can view your purchased maps on any device with access to Google Maps! After saving the map layers to your Google account (I recommend doing this on your computer for a much easier experience) they will automatically sync across every device you’re logged into.

Note: The emoji icons will only display in the Google Maps app (mobile or tablet).

I made these maps with user experience in mind. The icons and lists in these Google Maps downloads will integrate seamlessly into your Google Maps account and you’ll be able to interact with the recommendations (tapping on one to read reviews, for example) right from your normal Google Maps view. And they’ll stick around, until and unless you decide to hide them – which you can do whenever you’d like!

The one downside to this setup is that it does mean you’ll need to click a few more links to get all the lists into your app, but once you’ve done the initial job of saving the lists, you’re golden.
